What You’ll Need: The Mercedes-Benz DC Fast Charging Adapter

To charge at Tesla Superchargers, you’ll need the approved Mercedes-Benz DC Fast Charging Adapter.

  • Only for DC fast charging — not compatible with AC chargers or home wallboxes.
  • Rated for 500 amps / 1000 volts.
  • Extensively tested and validated by Mercedes-Benz for safety and compatibility.
  • Other adapters are not approved and may void your warranty if used.

How to Use the Adapter

  1. Ensure your MB.CHARGE Public subscription is active in the Mercedes-Benz app.
  2. Enable the “NACS DC Adapter” toggle in your charging settings.
  3. Find NACS-compatible Superchargers via your vehicle’s navigation or the app.
  4. Connect the adapter to the NACS cable, then plug into your vehicle’s CCS1 port.
  5. Charging will begin automatically — payment is seamless through MB.CHARGE.

Important Reminders

  • Only compatible Superchargers will work — check the map for availability.
  • Do not use the adapter for AC charging or Level 2 stations.
